The virtual lecture of Elżbieta Opiłowska focuses on the bilateral relations of the German-Polish border region and builds on the research project "Poland and Germany in the European Union – new forms and models of bilateral relations in foreign policy and cross-border cooperation".

Elżbieta Opiłowska is Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Regional and Borderlands Studies at University of Wroclaw, Poland. She spends July and September at University of Luxembourg. The projects during her visit are to develop further the cooperation with the UniGR-Center for Border Studies and to conduct research on the strategies of cross-border institutional actors in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Virtual lecture as part of the interdisciplinary conference series "Border Realities: Challenges and Perspectives in Uncertain Times".
