Call for Papers: Strategies and concepts of cross-border spatial development and planning
In the cross-border context, spatial development and planning are of particular importance. Due to the great dynamics of the economic, ecological and social framework conditions, as well as due to divergent spatial developments, there is a special need for coordination of spatially relevant concerns, especially in border areas. The required cross-border cooperation is institutionalized and organized in different ways and at different spatial levels.
Against this background, this volume illuminates specific examples from the current practice of cross-border spatial planning and development, which include institutional consolidation, intersectoral strategies as well as process design including participation procedures for the development of cross-border concepts.
