Public conference on cross-border development, work and mobility in Europe: perspectives from Albania’s border regions
On 20 October 2026, UniGR-CBS Fellow Eglantina Zyka will take part in a public conference in Longwy (France). The event is dedicated to cross-border work and mobility in Europe, bringing the Lorraine–Luxembourg border region into dialogue with border regions in Albania. The conference is organised by the IUT Henri Poincaré (Université de Lorraine) with the UniGR-CBS and AGAPE.
During her UniGR-CBS Fellowship at Université de Lorraine, Eglantina Zyka, Associate Professor at the University of Tirana, is investigating cross-border integration in the Lorraine–Luxembourg region through the experiences of Albanian mobile workers living in Luxembourg or commuting from Lorraine to work in Luxembourg. Her research will provide a comparative perspective on mobility and border-region development in different European contexts.
