The plurality of current crises gives the impression of an ongoing crisis, which is reflected in the omnipresence of situation(s) of urgency. Such situations are currently emerging especially regarding exile and migration in post-migrant societies in the Franco-German context, which are characterized by various border(ing)s. The study of border(ing)s in this context allows to further define their role in the construction of a present of urgency(s) and to find answers to uncertainties that constitute crises.
