Master in Border Studies: FGU funding for another four years
The Master in Border Studies is a two-year study program, which addresses the complexity of economic, political, social and cultural issues of borders and of border regions in Europe and beyond. The program is taught in three countries at four universities: University of Luxembourg (LUX), Université de Lorraine (FR), Saarland University (DE) and Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (DE).
The still young study program is in high demand and students are supported by the Franco-German University (FGU) with a mobility grant. After the first four years, the FGU recently evaluated the multilingual master program favorably and approved its funding for another four years. The master program particularly convinced with the integration of its students, the professional orientation and its intercultural added value .
