Damien Simonneau était Maître de conférences en Science politique à l'Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales, où il menait des recherches sur la sécurité frontalière contemporaine. Il a séjourné à la Technische Universität Kaiserslautern aux mois de novembre et décembre 2021. L’objectif de son séjour de recherche portait sur les adaptations différenciées au Brexit dans la Grande Région, afin d’étudier les opportunités et les écueils d’une gouvernance numérisée des flux commerciaux transfrontaliers.

Peter Ulrich is Scientific Director of the Institute for Local Government Studies at the Universität Potsdam and teaches at its Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. He has previously held research positions at the Viadrina Center B/ORDERS IN MOTION (Europa-Universität Viadrina, Frankfurt/Oder), the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, and the Leibniz Institute for Research on Society and Space.
His research interests include regional and local governance in multilevel systems, EU integration, cross-border cooperation, border and order studies, social innovation in peripheral regions, public services, and civil society participation with a particular focus on Brandenburg and the German-Polish borderlands.
